February 2015 MSDN Session at Globe

We've filled up the space at 6750 so we've filled our hearts with a great new partner this February!

The Philippine .NET Users Group (PHINUG), Microsoft Philippines, and Globe Labs presents another installment of MSDN Sessions, a monthly series of weekday after-office hours talks for software development professionals and enthusiasts of Microsoft developer technologies.

Our new venue would be at Globe Telepark Valero, which could be found at Valero St. (near VA Rufino), Makati City. We're moving our session a little earlier as well, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

For this month we're shaking up our format a little bit. We're going to have two main talks:

• Jon Limjap, PHINUG Lead, Microsoft MVP for .NET and Technical Specialist Team Lead at Provoke Solutions, will talk about testing, again. This time he'll go to the front-end and talk about Testing Web Applications with Selenium.NET and Seleno.

• Michael Sync, Microsoft MVP for Windows Platform Development, talks about Azure Application Visibility: Logging, Azure Diagnostics, Monitoring, where he delves into the back-end management of Microsoft Azure.

We're also going to have lightning talks:

• Erika Gatmaitan, who will talk about what they do at Globe Labs
• Eduardo Lorenzo, MVP for Azure, who will show a quick run through of HD Insight
• Warren Yu, MVP for Application Lifecycle Management, who will talk more about Likha-kathon, a hackathon being organized by PHINUG and Accenture

Food and drinks will be served at the event.
