For this MSDN Session we'll be at a new venue and hearing out new speakers (and an old one too ;) ).
The Philippine .NET Users Group (PHINUG) and Microsoft Philippines presents another installment of MSDN Sessions, a monthly series of weekday after-office hours talks for software development professionals and enthusiasts of Microsoft developer technologies.
OUR NEW VENUE will be at the following address:
2nd Floor, iACADEMY,
Mondragon House Building,
324 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. (Buendia),
For this month we'll have:
Marce Evangelista, Assoc. Principal Developer at Magenic, will talk about how to Think like a Software Architect: Build Business Objects in C# with CSLA.Net and Entity Framework. Marce has over 14 years of experience as a software developer and has used Microsoft technologies to architect, design and develop apps for different industries. That's if he's not playing the drums and jamming with the rest of his band.
Timothy Mislos, Microsoft MSP Alumni and Software Development Engineer at Gurango Software, will be presenting about ASP.NET Optimization. Tim has extensive experience on ASP.NET, IIS, Sharepoint and Dynamics CRM. He also serves the country by being a part-time instructor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) for courses on Web Programming, Databases, and the C# language, imparting valuable industry-relevant teachings to students. When not donning his dev or professor's hat he enjoys nature trips, climbs mountains, and reads a lot of books.
Jon Limjap, Microsoft MVP for C# and Technical Specialist at Provoke Solutions, will talk about Some random C# tips and tricks. Jon leads the Philippine .NET Users Group, organizes these MSDN Sessions, and takes a ton of photos. Over the years he has had a "nosebleed session" reputation, so this time he'll keep things light enough. Hopefully :D
The event will be held on August 28, 6:00 PM, at the 2nd Floor, iACADEMY, Mondragon House Building, 324 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. (Buendia), Makati City. Food and drinks will be served at the event.
See you there!
